Re: Buyers Beware---Latest Patch introduces purple tint in fast paced scenes

Does the problem only occur in 4K mode? Or also in the 1080p mode?

Hey everyone. I have a 65x900c and updated today... Can confirm the purple/dark blue ghosting on it. Happening to me on Netflix watching Luke Cage.

Mario Cart is pretty bright. Try a shooter. And what model do you have? It's very noticeable in dark scenes with fast motion, such as the camera quickly moving in an FPS.

It seems that an update is imminent.

It is unclear however if this will solve this issue.

No offense, Forbes seem to be a bunch of idiots. The patch they're talking about was already released in the US market before the European ones, and it was the one that introduced this issue. Again, this problem is not directly related to input lag.

Makes sense indeed. Well let's hope this gets fixed soon enough. It's really THAT distracting for me and I just got it. Returning is not an option, unfortunately.

Please post your exact model number including display size. Bonus: attach an image of you experiencing it if you are able to capture one.

Mine is the XBR-65X935D, which is the Brazilian version of the 930D but identical as far as I know.
