X9000e or X900e

Hey Guys,

So I was going to buy a new tv and particularly interested in the X900e after watching some positive reviews. But I live in Bangladesh.I didn't find a single X900e here. After doing Some research I found the 800/850/900/930 is not available in asia. They have 8000/8500/9000/9300 here though. But I found backlight difference between x900e(Full array) and X9000e(Direct LED).Although they say they both are same .
Why is that?

And if I manage to import a X900e from US can I make it work in asia? Will there be any geographical restrictions?

Re: X9000e or X900e

Dear Tahsin,

As I understood, the main difference between these models are related to the TV broadcasting standards of the target markets. For example  x900e has a ATSC & NTSC receiver whilst the x9000e has the DVB-T2 & PAL receivers.

Also x900e only has the M analog TV system whilst the x9000e has more. Otherwise TVs are the same. There may be a difference on what line voltages (110V or 220V) they have designed for. x900e is designed for US market.

Re: X9000e or X900e

Just purchased a XE90 55 inch.

I have a sonos playbar hooked on with optical but the tv image is to fast for the sound that comes out.

I tweaked all the settings and got it 99% correct now but still enoying.

This tv does not have a a/v sync option.
