Regarding my xbr-55x900c serial number 5022754 software version pkg3.865.0136nab.. The latest firware update has caused several problems. 1) at least twicw a day an error appears stating "unfortunally watch tv has stopped" which requires a reboot each time. 2) The volume indicator dosent appear.
Anyone know of any resolutions? It worked just fine until the latest upgrade. Really bummed!
We recommend performing another software update to version PKG3.885.0137NAB to fix the issue.
Before You Start
Your TV must be connected to a wired or wireless network.
If you have network connection issues, download the update to a USB flash drive, and install it to your TV. Go to Drivers and Software .
Check for Updates
It is important to keep your Android TV™ up to date with the latest firmware and software updates. These updates include key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements.
Check if updates are available for your TV.
By default, the Automatic software download setting on your TV is turned ON. If an update is available, it will download automatically. If this setting is OFF, you'll have to manually check for available updates.
WARNING! There is a risk of hardware damage. During the installation of the update, don't press any buttons, power off the TV, or disconnect it from the AC power outlet. Loss of power during the installation of the firmware update may cause the TV to become unresponsive or require repair.
As soon as the installation completes, you can use your TV normally again.

If your TV doesn't have internet access or you wish to do the update manually, you can download the update to a USB flash drive and then install it on your TV. Go to Drivers and Software .
