FDR-X3000 video corrupted - how do I recover it?

Hi Guys

On a very recent trip to Truk in Micronesia, I recorded a ton of video.

One video wasn't seen by the actioncam software as importable.

I found out the video isn't playable, and the actioncam doesn't 'see it'.

My guess is that it's somehow corrupted.

It's a 4K 25p 100 mbi video in H.AVC S format.

I copied it manually to my PC, and now I'm trying to figure out if it is somehow recoverable.

It's a unique video, so I would be very sad if it is unrecoverable.

I recorded video both before and after that one, and also longer videos, without any problems.

My guess is that the battery failed somehow.

Best regards

Looked good, but it didn't create the output files.
When analyzing a 'good' file, it gave this output:
'????' 0x0 [3814223452]
Unprocessed 3814223444 bytes
'?2Hl' 0xE3586E5C [1718524742]
Unprocessed 1718524734 bytes
'??B?' 0x149C709A2 [837337552]
Unprocessed 837337544 bytes
'<>?C' 0x17BAFCB72 [277906655]
Unprocessed 277906647 bytes
Unprocessed 4290752431 bytes

and it didn't create the .hdr files

No idea. I have a video.HDR and audio.HDR in my folder with a result.MOV and result.WAV.

There's some under alternatives to recover_mp4 that might work?

I found a tool from grauonline.de, and that worked perfectly.

I got most of the video salvaged.

It's payware, and costs €99, but if it happens again, it might be a good investment.

In demo mode it will repair only the first 50%
