FDR-x3000 will not charge with supplied cable

Hello all, well I received my camera and am currently using it on vacation. I bought an additional battery and charged both that and the supplied prior to vacation. Both charged fine (supplied cable). Now I am on vacation, the 2nd battery still has some charge, but neither it or the Sony battery will now charge. No indicator light illuminates on the camera when plugged in...nothing. I can't do a whole lot of testing since I am away from home. But, I have tried plugging the micro usb in two different computer's usb ports....and nothing.

Is there a setting I accident set that could prohibit the charging?

Thanks all, Pete

Re: FDR-x3000 will not charge with supplied cable

Update: I just found another micro usb cable (wife's camera) and that seems to charge the batteries. Well, at least the charging light is on. So, I will try some more testing with the supplied cable...and see if that may be the issue.

Thanks, Pete

If the charging light is on, it definetly is charging.

Try a phone charger with the USB-cable, since that is the solution I prefer.
