this trip, i am diving from one island to another island.
so my plan is use the FDR-X3000 to video underwater, then when i reach the other island, i will use the RM-LVR3 to use for vlogging on land. so here's the question, can i use the RM-LVR3 strapped to my hand as i go underwater, then unstrap it and use it on land for nature photography?
Sony specified it being waterproof down to 3 meters depth.
Yet I would rinse it with sweet-water after reaching the island, to ensure, that salt crystals are not forming in a way that they break open the casing (they can create a high amount of expansion force).
Also the remote won't sync with the camera while in water, since WiFi can't penetrate water.
Additionally read Sonys instructions on how to treat the cameras dive-case after swimming in salt water, since improper handling can cause it to leak sooner or later.
