Replacement USB port cover for Sony AS200V

The USB port flap/cover of my unit has now stopped functionion properly; it won't lock anymore. Are the damaged parts available for sale anywhere? I'm specifically looking for the flap and the plastic part with the "snap locks" that mates with the flap's snaps.

Sony sells most parts via https://sony.encompass.com/ , yet they are sold at ridiculous prices.

Do you use that door a lot? It would be cheaper to seal it off. I've never used mine.

I did have troubles with my secondary FDR-X1000V, but was able to force it back in.

I use the USB port for charging, so I can't just seal it off.

So the parts I am looking for and they are very expensive indeed. $27.56 for the lid and $21 for the "cabinet terminal".

A Sony battery and charger combo is that same price.  $50.

Don't use an knockoff cell from Amazon or elsewhere - they don't last as long time wise, and drop off very fast.

new $199 @ B&H Photo, used starting at $149.

Might find a camera for parts on Ebay that isn't working - even cheaper?
