Sony FDR X3000 Lag

Hi

I bought a new Sony FDRx3000 just two days ago. I finally started using it today but I am unsure as to why I am experiencing lag while filming.

I am using SanDisk micro SDHC Extreme 32g/90MB/s.

When I start filming while using my Samsung S7 or Samsung Note 4 or Sony remote view, the picture freezes or lags for a second, especially if I make sudden movements. Why is this?

Thanks

Is the lag in the final video, too?

If not, then you just need to switch Bluetooth off to get a more seamless WiFi-connection between the smartphone and the camera.

Also I wouldn't use a SDHC card, rather a SDXC card, since a SDHC card limits the camera.

The lag would show up in the final video. I've turned off bluetooth. Thanks, I will into it further.

Re: Sony FDR X3000 Lag

If your video (when playing it back on your PC/MAC) is still lagging, your memory card is too slow, or your PC is too weak for the high bitrate files you record!
