A6000 won't start without lense

Hello,

I just bought a6000 without lense but when I tried to start it nothing happen and display is still black. I don't really know if it's normal behavior without lense and when I will have lense it would be ok. Is there some way how to try its condition? Thank you for the answers.

Re: A6000 won't start without lense

The A6000 should start normally without a lens attached. One of the attractions of the A6000, and E-Mount cameras in general, is that it can use lenses from other maunfacturers via adapters that don't necessarily let the camera know of their presence. As a result, the A6000 should be able to power on normally without a lens attached.

I suggest you contact Sony Support.
