For me, the overheating problems with Sony's a6300 have not been fixed with v 2.0 firmware. Sony replaced my original a6300 with a different one last year after it shutdown outdoors while taking still photos. By this time, I was back to using my Canon. This spring I upgraded to v2.0 firmware, but no joy. This camera still displays the overheating indicator when TAKING STILL PHOTOS when outdoors and the temperature is in the 80's. Does anyone have any suggestions?
