BDV-N790W? Is it possible to connect an independent blu ray player to this HTS?

Blu ray movies can no longer be read through this system, is it possible to connect a stand alone blu ray player and connect it to this system? I love this system, but it no l,onger read blu rays. I'm thinking that if I could connect a different satnd alone player, would it work?

I've already had this one repaired and it didn't last but 3 months. Instead of getting it fixed again, why not try something else. Help! I need my blu rays. Thanks.

I'm going to bump this thread in the hopes that a mod, or anyone else will answer my question. Thank you.
