My BX510, upon loading up, does not launch into the home menu. The blue line appears across the screen, then the machine attempts to launch the SEN app, but ends up freezing (the bars on the bottom cycle, but don't go beyond the title screen).
In the previous days, the YouTube app and the Hulu Plus app were having problems launching, usually getting stuck before getting into the app.
There is nothing that I can do with the remote to get into any functions as far as I can tell.

-Attempt a power reset to resolve this issue. To perform the power reset, press and hold the POWERbutton on the front of the Blu-ray Disc® player for 10 seconds. The Blu-ray Disc player should turn off. If it does not turn off, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
-IMPORTANT:The Blu-ray Disc player may require a firmware update. Software and driver updates for your Sony product are available online.
-If the power reset did not resolve the issue and the most recent firmware is already installed, then service may be required.
-For all Sony products (EXCEPT VAIO computers): To send your product to a Sony facility to be repaired or to check the status of the a repair, visit our eService web site.
