My BDP-S1100 occasionally drops HDMI output

I just got a BDP-S1100 and it occasionally drops the HDMI connection for about 3 seconds to my Samsung TV. I've checked the HDMI cable and it works fine with other devices. Sometimes it drops every few minutes, other times it can go an hour or more. Thoughts?

Re: My BDP-S1100 occasionally drops HDMI output

Same thing has happened to me with my BD-3100 and Panasonic. It has nothing to do with the cable, which  I also use to connect my laptop to the tv without ANY issues.

Re: My BDP-S1100 occasionally drops HDMI output

I have tried them, but like the standard suggestions for the NHL GCL app, they don't work if you're set up is correct. There are no issues with my cables or Internet. The issue is within either the Blu-ray player or on the Sony servers, but no one at Sony ever wants to admit that.
