BDP-s1100 connection problems

I have recently just bought one of these. Connected it up to my internet. Allowed me to connect to the Internet. Physical and Internet access are both ok yet when I press the Internet video button I get (connecting to Internet video service...(1/3) then after a while it times out saying the process timed out because the server could not be accessed. The network might not be set up correctly. Then I redo the Internet settings and it says they are ok.
Also. Is netflix supposed to be pre loaded on the machine. All I have in the form of menus are setup, photo, music, video, network.
Below music the last four it has the same sub menu which is Internet video. Select to refresh Internet content.

Also, confirm that your internet connection speed meets the minimum requirement.

2.5 mpbs (SD) and 10mbps (HD).
