Some dvds in my BDP-S5100 blu ray player make my Panasonic TC-58LE64 TV switch from HDMI 1 (good) to HDMI 3 (bad)

My Sony BDP-S5100 blu ray player connects to my Panasonic TC-58LE64 teevee via the HDMI 1 port.

The problem happens with some, but not all, dvds as soon as they're loaded into the player, or when paused or FFed if the dvd is already running.

The teevee immediately switches from HDMI 1 and looks for a signal at HDMI 3 where it tells me it finds nothing.

It's easy to use the teevee remote to switch back to HDMI 1 and play the dvd, but kind of inconvenient.

Any ideas how to keep the system on HDMI 1?

Hi, Geigerboy

Welcome to Sony Community!

This is likely an issue with the discs that you are playing since certain DVDs works fine with the unit. You may still follow the guidelines here to isolate the issue: https://us.en.kb.sony.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/30372

Regards,
