My 16 year old DCR-VX1000 has suddenly begun to record a very pink image.
It has been repaired by Sony recently due to a sound problem at cost of apx. $500.00. Now the video is weird. I set it aside for about a month and turned it on again today. The image appears normal again. Question I have is this a fluke or is the image sensor dying? I cannot afford another $500.00 repair and would not want to rely on this equipment at a memorable event. Comments?
