HDRPJ410

HDRPJ410 camcorder - if I record full HD 30fps beyond the 4GB file limit, will the camcorder automatically start a new file, or will it just stop recording and I need to manually start another recording?

I'm considering buying one to record my wedding and want to leave it unattended for up to a couple of hours, on mains electricity of course, without needing to manually start multiple recordings.

Re: HDRPJ410

As long as your recording media  has enough room there should not be a problem.  The camcorder will automatically start a new file.

If it were a DSLR (there are some exceptions) it would be different as most of those have a 30 minute limit and require user interaction to start a new file.

Oh yeah, congratulations on the upcoming wedding.
