I have a Sony 560x Camcorder

I am try to capture a video clip from me camcorder. I used to be able to do it through Windows XP. Now that I upgraded to Windows 7. My computer does not receive the video. When I plugged in the camcorder there was a spinning sign like something would happen, but it never did. The capure video page said no device entered.


Any suggestons on checking my computer and to seeing if thier is contact being mae. I would like to transfer the

Hi 8 Tapes to the computer.

The USB streaming function is no longer supported by the Windows 7 OS. If you want to use your new OS and transfer the videos from the tapes, you would need an A/V capture card and a video capture software. An A/V capture card connects to your computer's USB port and to your camera via an A/V cable. You may check your local electronics shop for more information about this device.
