Lost cords for old Sony Vid Cam - model HDR-sr7e

Hi All,

Wondering if someone can help me.  I have an old Sony Video Cam - would have been bought around 2005.  Model nos HDR-sr7e.  The cords seem to have been lost.  I have videos of my son when he was a toddler on this camera so I would like to retrieve them and am unsure how to do it.  Any ideas on where I could possibly get replacement cords or how to download the material from the camera without them?

Thanks in advance

Re: Lost cords for old Sony Vid Cam - model HDR-sr7e

Did you lose all of the cords (A/V, USB, Power)?  Do you have the dock that came with the camcorder?

Power brick and cord: Sony AC-L200

Docking Station: Sony Dcra-c181

A/V Cable: Sony VMC-15FS

Component Cable:  Sony VMC-15VC

USB cable:  Not sure but any USB cable with a mini-USB end should work.  Do a search for Sony HDR-SR7E USB cable and you should find one that will work.

Yes, misplaced the lot, including dock.   Any idea on where to source them from?

Many thanks for your reply

Re: Lost cords for old Sony Vid Cam - model HDR-sr7e

Sources from Sony: Sony AC-L200

You might have to check eBay for the docking station - Sony DCRA-C181.

Amazon for the Sony VMC-15FS

Amazon for the Sony VMC-15VC

The USB cable can be purchased from Encompass (parts listed are for the HDR-SR7 but should be compatible with the HDR-SR7E).  Other parts such as the cradle (docking station) are available there as well.
