My DCR-TRV260 is not recognized by Windows 7 64 bit OS.

Is there a driver available for  DCR-TRV260 that works with Windows 7 64 bit?

Welcome to the Sony Community.

Are you trying to connect the Camcorder to the Windows 7 computer using the supplied USB cable? If yes, then this connection will not work as the USB streaming feature of the Camcorder is not supported with the Windows 7 operating system.

 

You may connect the Camcorder to the computer using the A/V cable or an i.Link cable. The i.Link cable is also known as firewire or IEEE 1394 cable. Refer to the following links for instruction on how to transfer the videos using an A/V cable or an i.Link cable.
