Play Memories Home software

I just bought the HDR-CX210 Camcorder.  In reading the instructions, it says the built in PlayMemories Home software is not supported by Mac computers (which I have) and directs me to a URL for further instructions; but I don't think the webpage exists.

Anybody have any similar experience or insight about the PlayMemories Home softward for Mac.

Thanks

George

Re: Play Memories Home software

George, it’s correct that the PlayMemories Home (PMH) Software is not compatible with Macintosh Computer.

However, you can import your videos using iMovie Software that is already installed on the Mac Computer.

Also, go through the below video tutorial and follow the instructions to transfer the AVCHD videos to Macintosh Computer.

An alternative, third-party software called ClipWrap has been known to support the 1080/60p and 720/60p formats. Visit http://www.divergentmedia.com/clipwrap for information about the ClipWrap software.
