Sony FDR-AX53 - I want to use it to live stream but ti shuts off!

I want to use my Sony FDR-AX53 like an expensive, better qulaity webcam.

It works great!

The only problem is that it shuts off....and take the recording connect to it offline tooo.

I reied taking the auto shut off OFF in the setting.

I took off the battery so it won't have worry about the power.

I tried even turning on the record button--but that makes if unavailable to stream.

There must be a solution for this.

Hi Skiplacour,

Welcome to Sony's Community Site!

You can either try the following options to extend or it doesn’t turn off automatically.

Power Save

  1. - [Setup] - [General Settings] - [Power Save].

For more information, please check out this manual

or

You can use the AC-L100 for supplying power form the wall outlet to your camera.

NOTE: You cannot use this AC Adaptor to recharge by connecting it directly to a battery pack.

If my post answers your question, please click the button below "Accept as Solution".

Regards,

Dave

Re: Sony FDR-AX53 - I want to use it to live stream but ti shuts off!

I am back again!

My camera had a defect and had to be replaced.

Oddly, I am having this same probem again with the new camera.

I solved it last time simply by turning the power saver off.

This time, it doesn't work!

Power saver if OFF but it still shuts down during live streaming and monitoring.

Battery full charged.

Even when AC cord is plugged it.

STRANGE!

Any suggestion?

Also, how much time when set to "Maximim".

Thanks in advance. Love the camera.
