There was no reply to my query except requesting me to look for the local sony retailer.

 

as I live in Hong Kong, this is simply not helpful

 

please kindly advice if I could get a replacement.  This is only bought and ised for less than 60 days

I am in a similiar situation with this user. Does it matter where the stylus broke ? The product design is faulty. Its a portable product that will travel with the owner. I bought it in the US with a US credit card and address. Why would you not support this product to my US address ?

Received feedback from CS that since my country Hong Kong does not supply the model DPT-RP1 and no repair services can be provided. Does it really matter where I live? I purchased with address in US. I am disappointed that for such a big company like Sony they do not have worldwide support for their product.

Spoke to a representative from Sony, The told me that the stylus is an accessory and therefore nothing can be done if it was defective or damaged by regular usage. I should purchase a new one when ever it becomes available for purchase. You could have just posted that here instead of wasting our time.
