DSC- HX400v Video Problems

I am having a time getting any help! Have 3 other Sony cameras that are easy to take and download videos with.. please help? The "instruction" manual that was in the box is of no help.

From the simplest setting I press the video button and take ( what I think is ) a video.. and then again when done. Where is the video now and how do I download it onto my PC?

Thank you... Terry

With PlayMemories Home.

HD Videos are not stored as a single file like other video formats. They are stored in multuiple files in multiple folders so they are compatible with the Blu-Ray disk format.

As a result, there's no single file that you can just doubleclick on in order to play a video.

So how do I find them then - this can't be that difficult .. is there no "plain English" solution?
