While recalls are being done for the T100 and T20, why aren't the T300 with the identical problem being taken care of? I have been transferred to three different help desks now with absolutely no resolve. Any suggestions?

There is a Product Alert for the DSC-T20 as shown here, this is not a Recall:

Currently there is not a Product Alert for the DSC-T100, DSC-T200 or DSC-T300.

If Your DSC-T300 takes a long time to turn on and at the same time vibrates, shakes, or makes a grinding noise, then service will be required. Click this link here for available service options:

I have the same problem in my camera T300, I tried to contact Sony with no success. There are a lot of complaints about this problem in this and other models and Sony does not do anything. I am still waiting for a solution!

Is the problem resolved? Or have you given up on them. My HX 30 V shows the same problem n awaiting some advice
