Startup problem

I've got this HID-C10 as a gift. I plugged it and it searched for WiFi... Once I write the network and password, it only shows a message: Update not available... A software update is required for this device, however no update is currently available. Current software version: 1.0.1111.


It only shows the clock if i turn of my router, and doesn't go to any menu. Can't see the registration code...


Any help?

You need to do a manual software update. You can find the instructions to do so here:

This update did not "fix" the Dash properly. Apps and time display, but Dash weather is not working correctly. When on touches the weather for details, the details page no longer works. It should show 5 day forecast and allow one to scroll through other cites programmed into Dash. Neither of those functions works anymore!
