Anyone know of somewhere I could download LUTs compatible with Raw Viewer and Resolve that correspond to the camera's internal Hypergamma LUTs?
I dunno if this is unapropriate double-posting, but I'll give it a shot and hope I can get a reply fromm Peter in this thread.I wonder if it is possible to read from the metadata what gamma- and colorspace was used while recording. I guess I might need an API to read the .BIM files?http://community.sony.com/t5/F5-F55/Trying-to-read-colorspace-metadata-to-automatically-apply-LUTs/m...the answer for what we try to do is not to use a SONY program file by file.BestGunleik
Sure you can read them youself with an XML viewer, or of course develop an API to do whatever you like with the data contained within.
As for what software is currently reading the Sony metadata? I only know that Catalyst is reading it, but I do suspect Davinci Resolve will read it soon and hopefully others like Adobe.
If Catalyst/Resolve can read it, that suggests that an API exists, which is good. The .xml's don't seem to contain the info I am looking for.
