No warranty for replaced product

I had purchased Sony Bluetooth Speaker SRS X55 which is in warranty. I was facing battery problem. But service centre is unable to get it repaired. Therefore they offered me a replacement having model no. SRS XB40. Both these products cost same currently. But they are providing me only with the remaining warranty of the product which can't be repaired. They are not providing me fresh warranty of 1 years. Please provide me a solution
