STR DH 520

How do you adjust the volume on the rear speakers ? I've tried the tone thing to no avail . Read the instructions but i'm not to tech savy and it almost seems you need a pro tech to do this .

Greetings and thank you for your message. In order to change the decibel for the rear speakers, we suggest following these steps to access the menu option, it is possible to increase the level  to +10.0 dB or decrease it–10.0 dB if required.

 

  1. Press AMP MENU on the remote commander, menu should be flashing on the front panel of the receiver.
  2. Press the DOWN arrow and select LEVEL then press the CENTER (OK) button on the circle with arrows.
  3. The options should be displayed as follows if you press the arrow DOWN
    • Test tone [T. TONE]
    • Front left speaker level [FL LVL]
    • Front right speaker level [FR LVL]
    • Center speaker level [CNT LVL]
    • Surround left speaker level [SL LVL]press the OK button to select option.
      1. Press the arrow UP to increase the decibels for  SL +10.0 dB 
      2. Press the OK button to save the option.
  4. Press the DOWN arrow to select the Surround right speaker.
    • Surround right speaker level [SR LVL], press the OK button to select option.
      1. Press the arrow UP to increase the decibels for  SR +10.0 dB 
      2. Press the OK button to save the option.
    • Surround back speaker level [SB LVL]
    • Surround back left speaker level [SBL LVL]
    • Surround back right speaker level [SBR LVL]
    • Front left high speaker level [LH LVL]
    • Front right high speaker level [RH LVL]
    • Subwoofer level [SW LVL]
  5. One you have finished with the changes press AMP MENU to exit.
