Why Sony HT RT3 doesnt support DTS, Dolby HD

[ Edited ]

Sony HT RT3 supports only Dolby digital. Neither Dolby TrueHD, Nor DTS, (DTS-HD) are supported. This is really unfortunate that a new generation HT doen't sopport these. Is there a way to go around this? Can Sony provide a firmware update for this?

They promised of providing a firmware update to solve this. That was 4 months back. But nothing has been done yet. You may also write to them.
