Does the LPCM displays in the Receiver while watching program from different connected source devices like Cable box, DVD Player?
Using the menu of the connected device, go to the audio output setting and make sure that the Dolby surround setting and the DTS audio settings are selected.
This may occur when the HDMI Audio Output setting on the A/V receiver is not set properly.
Follow these steps to set the Audio Out settings in the Receiver.
1) Press GUI MODE button on the Receiver.
Press MENU button if the GUI menu does not appear on the TV screen.
2) Select Settings (brief case icon).
3) Select “HDMI Settings”.
4) Select “Audio Out” and finally select “AMP”.
Some cable boxes or satellite receivers cannot output Dolby or DTS using an HDMI cable. In this case, use a Digital Optical cable or Digital Coaxial cable to connect the device to the A/V receiver.
