sound and video do not match when I use the home theater speakers.

I just bought the SONY DAV-DZ170 and while I think the sound is great, I'm not satisfied.  When I use the surround sound, the video does not match the audio correctly.  They are delayed slightly.  When I use the volume from the tv, they match up fine.  I get audio and video, so I know that it is connected correctly and I wonder if it's just a bad model.  I'm hoping there is a simple solution.

Hi Lisa,

If the audio and video are not synchronized or are out of sync when listening to the audio from the TV on the home theater system, you may try adjusting the delay using the A/V Sync function of the HTS. Refer to page 51 of the supplied user manual for information regarding using the A/V Sync function.

You may also connect the audio cables from the cable set-top box or satellite receiver directly to the HTS.
