SRS-XB20 | Sound distortion after 1/2 hour followed by BlueTooth drop.

After about a 1/2 hour to an hour the sound quality deteriorates into a distortated mess and eventually the blue connection drops.

 

I can Initiallize the speaker and it will work fine for about a 1/2 again.  It makes no difference if I also reset the speaker using the reset button.

 

I can speed up how quickly the deterioration occurs by doing anything on my phone that causes other sounds to play on the speaker; for example locking the phone,  receiving a text,  typing on the keyboard...  etc.

 

I returned the first SRS-XB20 thinking it was defective; but the second speaker does the same thing.  None of my other (6 or so) bluetooth devices are having any issues.

We are sorry to hear what happened with the speaker. Have we tried to delete pairing data, and then pair the unit and device again? You may also refer to the following links for additional steps to troubleshoot the issue:
