Re: XAV-AX100 Sony -- Please disable the Warning Screen on start up + more

JoffreyS contacted me several times directly asking for details on the issue -- that was back in July/August, so yes... someone from the fourm (I assume representing Sony) is reading this but I see no action -- no patch, no upgrade.  It's been 6 months since I posted this ask and as I stated previously (as I work with software development), it's not a difficult thing to fix, it just needs to be prioritized .... and obviously, it's not a priority.

Sony could learn something from Amazon ... their montra is to be "hyper focused on the customer" -- Sony is not in tune with that philosophy.  Too bad.  What's that saying... Have a great experience and tell 10 people, have a poor experience and tell 1000.

Re: XAV-AX100 Sony -- Please disable the Warning Screen on start up + more

Sony please sort this out, the repeated start-up warning/acceptance screen on my XAV-AX200 is already making me want to replace my new head unit in favour of a less frustrating device.

Jay it didn't answer anything. Multiple people have asked and I don't see one answer anywhere. This screen is beyond annoying. We get that u shouldn't drive and watch dvds. Maybe make it harder than grounding a wire so u can't but this is annoying

A true disgrace.

If there was any will to be of any help, you could use your position to forward this concern to whom it may be appropriate.

Instead you just blow us off and consider your job done.

Way to go.

Re: XAV-AX100 Sony -- Please disable the Warning Screen on start up + more

Hi everyone,

I agree: this warning screen is so annoying I thought I had wired up something incorrectly. Sony: please take action. This screen has the opposite effect of what it's supposed to do. Many times when it shows up, many of us are already driving on the road and have to look at the screen to dismiss the warning. It's both useless and dangerous.

Please issue a firmware update that allows disabling it.

Best regards,

J.-P. Pellet
