About Me
  • I’m a Sr. Customer Support Representative with Sony’s Social Media team. I’ve worked for Sony for 16 years, and have lots of fun playing with all of the new products. Even though am knowledgeable on many of Sony's products, I’m especially good with televisions and cameras. On a more personal note, I’m married, raised in Florida, and love the Red Sox as well as movies and great food. You’ll rarely find me without my Bloggie in my pocket - I love taking photos of family and friends wherever I go!

I'm a regular guy with a personal blog who loves a joke that brings a smile to his (especially when nobody's looking), America's past time, discovering new people and places both near and far, a tasty meal that makes me forget my troubles, techy stuff that makes life easier, movies from Belushi to the Duke, music that reminds me of a specific time and place, and choosing to go down the path less traveled - 'cause I don't like footprints….

Thanksgiving in the Great Smoky Mountains

TN5.pngEvery year, we gather with family in Tennessee to enjoy quality time together in the natural beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We have visited in the summer months, but I feel the winter offers sights and sounds you will never experience elsewhere.

Sunday on Beautiful Sanibel Island

pic5.jpgLast Sunday we got up early, packed a delicious lunch, grabbed our beach chairs and set out for world-famous Sanibel Island. People visit the Island from all over the world, and as we walk the beaches we have had the pleasure of meeting lots of different people from all over the globe. There is something about gathering on a sunny beach on a gorgeous day that brings people together.

Saturday Afternoon...

pic11.jpgThe beauty of the pocket-size Bloggie MHSTS20 is its ease of use and its portable size. I keep it in my pocket or car, so I am always ready to capture something interesting or just plain different.

Collector’s Special

swap.jpg

This is the latest find in my quest for “previously loved” Sony products. I do not collect art, furniture or knick knacks - I collect electronics.  The older, the better.

Long Live Sony

PM - Long Live Sony Pic.jpgAs I continue my never-ending search for vintage Sony products, I find myself wandering for hours on end at one of my favorite flea markets. A stranger version of the island for misfit toys, you can find anything here and this is what draws me back, time and time again.

Row after row, vendor after vendor, if you need something, this is the place. If you want shiny and new, head to your local mall. This is a second home for bargain shoppers, driven by the dream of getting a great deal and one more chance to sharpen your negotiating skills to “win” the deal.

I first noticed the pearl-white cabinet from across the aisle, and am drawn to this old beauty. I ask the owner “does it still work?” ABSOLUTELY the owner replies, "It's a Sony."
