Catalyst Browse crashes on startup on Macbook Pro 2017

Hi there,


I have a 2013 iMac iOS 10.13.3 running Catalyst Browse 2017.3.0.192


My new Macbook Pro has the same OS 10.13.3 but the same version of Catalyst Browse always crashes on startup.


I have reinstalled my iOS and Catalyst Browse several times.

Nothing seems to help.


Has anyone got a workaround for this?





UPDATE I followed the advice on one of the other threads and downloaded then installed Catalyst Browse 2017.1.0.182

This does work on my laptop, so I guess I can use it in the mean time.

Does anyone know why the latest version doesn't work with this hardware?

Also is there any chance of it be rectified in the near future?

Thank you for your question, and I am glad to see you have it worked out!  The issue is an incompatibility with our video renderer engine and the graphics cards found in the newest MacBook Pro models in combination with 10.13.2 or 10.13.3.  We will try to have this fixed on our end ASAP.
