On a ccu's rcp controller- adjusting the iris in "relative" mode

On a CCU's remote panel, we have the option to use either "Absolute" or "Relative" modes for the Iris adjust.  The relative mode gives you a smaller range, 25% of the 'closed to open' range of the camera lens.  My question is how to set which 25% of the range?  Is there a way for the operator to set  which f-stops- from say f1.8- f4 or f5.6-f11 the iris ****** will open/close the Iris?

You are not mentioning what kind of RCP you are using, but lets pretend you are using a 1500 like I usually do.

When in relative you adjust the span on a small ****** called COARSE.

You can also adjust how big your relative span is suppose to be under Config > RCP > VR settings > Iris/M.Black.
