Annotation Support on DPT-RP1

Hello,

I would like to know if there will be support for in-pdf text annotations, similar to the one in DPT-S1.

I use this tablet for reading and writing notes on PDF files, but it is hard when I need to enter a detailed note at the precise location in the file considering the fact there is no way to do this.

Moreover, will we be getting any support for a Go To Page option and Table of Contents?

I'm curious about your note taking requirements.

WIll you explain what you mean by 'detailed' note?

Do you annotate "real" books also?

Or has the DPT-RP1 (and other digital annotation: Adobe Acrobat, other ereaders) been your first experience?

I regularly make notes in my readings. Check out this and let me know if it helps: https://goo.gl/4zsVjJ

Re: Annotation Support on DPT-RP1

I annotate math papers. Generally, authors leave out facts that may be pertinent to the paper, so I usually fill them in using sticky notes. Thanks for your suggestion, but the issue is not about marking up.

Yes. Then is your use case editing? In other words, your notes are communicating changes to the author--you and the author are on something of the same level of knowledge?

My use case is I know less than the author, and I am working to increase my understanding.

Curious--you say you write sticky-notes. So you're writing mathematical equations in stickies also (opposed to the digital pen)? Or are you using markdown syntax like Mathjax?

I am not sure if  the last two threads are relevant to the subject.
