Youtube App -- Security Error (KD60X690E) RESOLVED

As of yesterday I am getting a security error preventing me from using the YouTube app on my Sony KD60X690E TV. It reads:


Security Error

This server could not prove that it is; its security

certificate is supposedly from 17,582 days in the future. This may be

caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your



Googling this issue indicates that an incorrect date/time setting is the most common cause of such errors and comming at the change from PST to PDT yesterday is suspicious. However, I have set the correct date and time on the TV and my router has the correct date and time. I can access YouTube without issue on my PC, Notebook, Phone, Tablet and Roku -- just not on the TV's app.


Any help resolving this will be greatly appreciated.

Further Googling on this issue turned up a solution. Under Network settings there is a Refresh Internet Content function that fixed the issue.
