Sony KDL-46VL160 Calibration

I have a Sony Bravia KDL-46VL160 LCD TV. Can someone tell me where I can find information on calibrating the television to get a good picture?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much

Re: Sony KDL-46VL160 Calibration

If you really think it necessary, you can search the internet for a listing of ISF certifed calibrators. An ISF certified technician has gone through extensive training and classroom instruction designed to adjust video display devices i.e TVs, projectors etc. to perform at their optimum best.

However, it should be noted that in the case of the tv you have, you are likely to not gain much improvement over the factory settings which are very good. The cost usually runs between $250-$400, so not usually advised on lower priced equipment. Calibration is usually done on projectors to compensate for room characteristcs which are more influential than on flat panel displays.

Hope that helps.
