Vaio Tap 11 CMOS Battery Help

My system clock keeps on delaying compared to the actual time.

Is there a repair?

I noticed that it may be caused by the CMOS battery starting to fail.

I have opened the device up and am comfortable, as I replaced the mSATA myself.

However, I don't really know where the CMOS is.

I have openned it again to locate the CMOS and came up with nothing.

There are many images of the motherboard from both the front and back, but that doesn't help either!

Where is it? Thanks

Re: Vaio Tap 11 CMOS Battery Help

Hi Nixie1639

Welcome to Sony Community!

Probably it is hidden, perhaps under the motherboard or somewhere. We recommend visiting the nearest Sony Authorized Service Center in your area for further assistance with this concern: https://esupport.sony.com/US/p/service.pl

Regards,

Vincent

Re: Vaio Tap 11 CMOS Battery Help

Looking at images of motherboard of the Vaio Tap 11, I can't seem to locate any CMOS battery on the front or back.

Also, the Best Buy tech support, isn't really able to help with the issue, and since Vaio only gets hardware support from Best Buy, I am the only one that can actually work on it right now.
