Vaio VPCSC31fm Wireless Adapter Driver Missing

The wireless adapter does not appear in my list of network connections. I am unable to connect to the internet wirelessly. When I check my device manager I have a yellow exclamation point next to 'Network Adapter' which is listed under 'Other Devices'. I have installed every single piece of software under downloadable drivers from the sony vpcsc31fm driver repository except for the best buy stuff. My centrino wimax is recognized, but my wifi adapter is not. What am I doing wrong? Why don't I have a driver for my wireless adapter? Which package is the wifi driver supposed to be in? How do I get my wireless adapter to be recognized by windows 7?

Hi paisleyartmachi,

Please try to check if the wireless switch is on. You can refer to page 14 of this user guide. Thanks.

Your website is missing the wireless adapter driver. I had to go to intel's website to find it. The link is here Wireless centrino n + wimax 6150
