Follow all the steps mentioned below to access the safe mode:
Pressing the F8 key for 7-10 seconds when the VAIO logo appears on the screen at the start-up to access the Advanced Boot Options > highlight the Safe Mode option and press the Enter key.
Next, go through the steps provided here to perform the system restore in the Safe Mode here: https://us.en.kb.sony.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/
Next, perform a complete system recovery to restore your computer to the factory settings. Restart the computer, keep tapping the F10 key continuously, press enter key at the edit boot option, select start recovery wizard and click on skip VAIO Care rescue (If you do not wish to back up data) to start the system recovery process.
Note: It is required to take backup of all the data before performing the system recovery as it erases everything from the computer.
