removing outer cover from Vaio VCG-V517G

I don't know where to post this question. This section appears to be the olnly logical one. I have a Vaio VCG-V516G (all-in-one) desktop. I need to repair it, and, need to get to the motherboard. Does anyone have any idea as to how to remove the "rear cover"? I can fix it if I can remove the rear cover. I've looked everywhere for information on this, and, can't find anything. I tried the rear cover quite a few times, but, wasn't able to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: removing outer cover from Vaio VGC-V517G

The 2006 VGC-V517G has a back plate slide cover
Move this by sliding the back plate slide cover upward until the connectors on the rear of the set is exposed

page 92 of the Users guide will show you how with diagrams
http://www.docs.sony.com/release/VGCV517_V520G.pdf

you must also remove the memory that is also shown past page 92.
