Bluetooth Mouse (VGP-BMS11) connectivity problem

On W8 64 Ultrabook SVD1122APXB, my bluetooth mouse (VGP-BMS11) sporadically loses connectivity when the PC wakes up from prolonged (say overnight) rest. It doesn't always happen but it's really frustrating when it does. Even the bluetooth settings don't allow me to toggle the switch. I would sometimes remove the batteries of the mouse to try to re-establish connection but to no avail. The only solutions seems to be restarting the PC, which I never want to do especially when I have work files running.

Help!

Re: Bluetooth Mouse (VGP-BMS11) connectivity problem

Hi ariel.

Try installing the Sony Wireless State Device Driver to troubleshoot the issue. You can download the driver from here: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=SVD1122APXB&upd_id=7822&os_group_id=24

Next, download and install the Bluetooth Driver and its update from the below provided links:

Bluetooth Driver: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=SVD1122APXB&upd_id=8380&os_group_id=24

Bluetooth Driver Update: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=SVD1122APXB&upd_id=8553&os_group_id=24

Re: Bluetooth Mouse (VGP-BMS11) connectivity problem

After upgrading to windows 10, this mouse is not working properly.

There is erratic cursor jumping, which is not smooth.

Is there a new driver?

Re: Bluetooth Mouse (VGP-BMS11) connectivity problem

Hi breddy2000

Welcome to Sony Community!

Unfortunately, we still do not have the Windows 10 drivers and software yet. If the issue started just after the upgrade then most probably this is Windows 10 drive issue. Please visit this link for the complete details about Windows 10 upgrade/drivers: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/os10upgrade.pl. You may also bookmark the page since it will be updated once the drivers are available.

Regards,

Vincent

Hi,

Is there a solution yet? Now the mouse is just a piece of junk sitting idle.
