Windows8 drivers for AMD Radeon HD 7670M and Intel HD4000?

I have a VAIO SVZ1311C5E notebook with a docking station VGP-PRZ20C. The docking station is equipped with a grafic card AMD Radeon HD 7670M while the notebook is equipped with an Intel HD4000 grafic card.

After having installed Windows8 I am not able to activate the grafic card of the docking station any more. Obviously I have not yet found the correct drivers. Unfortunately the are no drivers to download especially for the docking station from the Sony websites.

The grafic card displayed in Windows control center is "AMD Radeon HD 6700M Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.20)". This obviously is not correct.

According to the technical specification of the docking station the grafic card should be a "AMD Radeon HD 7670M" (when SVZ131XX is connected).

I already tried the following:

1) Downloaded "catalyst_mobility_64-bit_util.exe" from AMD's website. Unfortunately the software states that grafic adapter is not supported due to inkompatible hard/software".

2) Downloaded and installed "A2DVID-00274586-0082.EXE" from Sony's website. This file is said to be the AMD Radeon HD 7570M - HD 7670 Graphics and Intel® HD Graphics 4000 driver for Windows8. No success.
3)  Downloaded and installed "A2DVID-00268409-0042.exe" from Sony's website. This file is said to be the AMD RadeonT HD 7670M and Intel® HD Graphics 4000  for Windows7. No success.

As far as I see one would need combined AMD / Intel drivers for Windows8. Obviously Sony has not yet made these drivers available.

Any ideas how to solve the problem?

Re: Windows8 drivers for AMD Radeon HD 7670M and Intel HD4000?

Thanks for the post.

SVZ1311C5E model # doesn't belong to the U.S. However, I’ll provide the general information.

You may check if you have followed all the upgrade instructions:

Some of the features may not work after the upgrade to Windows 8. Drivers and steps are available to troubleshoot the issue. For U.S model computers, Power Media Dock will not work as with Windows 8. A software update is tentative for Windows 8 by mid January.

You may also check for the information here:

The available drivers for SVZ1311C5E are listed here:
