Restore computer to factory settings

I need to restore my Sony VAIO E to factory settings. I am unable to make a back up disk nor am I uanble to go back to system recovery point. My model number SVE 141D11L     I did not make the back up cd's the first time because the installation CD's failed to burn properly (these kind of things only happen to me).  If you could help me and provide very simple, step by step directions - it would be much appreciated.

Thank you so much.

Hi,
SVE141D11L seems to be a hardware configuration code.
If you haven't changed the original operating system, you may perform system recovery using ASSIST button.
If you're using Windows 8 operating system follow the steps listed on the below page:

https://us.en.kb.sony.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/36806/c/65%2C66/kw/36806

If you're using Windows 7 operating system follow the steps listed on the below page:
Press ASSIST button when the computer is turned OFF and then follow the steps listed on the below page.

If you're still facing issue, reset BIOS once and try above steps.

If still you're not able to perform recovery, you may purchase recovery media from Sony or reimage hard drive by contacting their service center team.

You can also purchase the recovery discs:

Let me know if it helps.

Thanks,
Jack
