Using Vaio restore disks on formatted hard drive when no optical drive available

[ Edited ]

Hi,

Assuming I formatted my internal SSD drive, would I be able to restore it to it's original factory setting if I buy the official Sony restore disks for my particular model? Especially:

1. Would the restore disk rebuiild the partitions that previously existed (OEM Partition, 2x Recovery Partitions, EFI System Partition and C Drive) including the Windows Operating System?

2. The Vaio doesn't have an optical drive and won't boot from an external one but can boot off a USB flash. Can I burn an ISO of the Sony restore disk to the flash drive to restore from that?

3. Are the Sony Restore disks always just 1 DVD or do they sometimes be more? A DVD will usually store 4.7Gb but the recovery partition used to be over 18Gb, so how would i go about making an ISO from more than one disk to put on the flash drive?
