After upgrading to Windows 10 the built in camera is not detected

[ Edited ]

Hi,

My laptop model is Sony Vaio SVF14N13CXB.

After upgrading to Windows 10 the built in camera is not detected. The error message says:

We can't find your camera

Check to be sure it's connected and installed properly, that it isn't being blocked by antivirus software, and that your camera drivers are up-to-date.

If you need it, here's the error code: 0xA00F4244(0xC00D35D5)

The camera is not blocked by the antivirus. The camera is not listed in the Device Manager so drivers cannot be updated from there. Also, in the drivers section of the Sony Website for my laptop model says that the drivers are updated automatically with windows update, which is not certainly the case.

Would you please indicate how to sove this issue?

Thank you very much for your support.

Re: After upgrading to Windows 10 the built in camera is not detected

Hi Vaio_user21,

Welcome to Sony Community.

We're sorry to hear that the camera is not detected after the upgrade. May we know how did you upgrade to Windows 10 operating system? We recommend that you contact Microsoft for this issue. Please check the attached image below:

The camera should be included in the Windows 10 operating system.

Jen
