Re: Solution for freezing/bsod issue after Win10 upgrade on SVE14A27CXH

I asked you in an earlier post if what I downloaded was correct and you said it was.  Now it's not?

So you're telling me to do the same procedure over again using the beta driver you just listed?

I'm going to give it a try again. Got nothing to lose.

Do I still follow your instructions about removing the old drivers even though I have the incorrect version of the new drivers installed?

Not sure I understand.  What manual are you talking about and where is it located?

Re: Solution for freezing/bsod issue after Win10 upgrade on SVE14A27CXH

hey kiaksar!

Thank you! I've been having so many freeze ups lately and thankfully I found this forum post. I just recently installed the new drivers and just hoping it doesn't freeze, I'll update if anything happens, but so far running on 2 hours or so and everything seems better than ever!

Re: Solution for freezing/bsod issue after Win10 upgrade on SVE14A27CXH

kiaksar,

I redid the removal of the drivers again and installed using the version Catalyst_15.11_Beta_UnifL_v1.0 you mentioned.

Process worked and I have been running for over a week now with no freezing or loud fan. Looks like it worked this time.

Thanks again for the post.

I did this solution tonite, I am hoping it works as well for me as it has for you.  So far so good!  The fan already has quieted down.  I was really worried I would have to roll back to Windows 8.  Thanks for your help on this one!!!!  The crashing was making me insane!

Re: Solution for freezing/bsod issue after Win10 upgrade on SVE14A27CXH

This worked great for me. I've been trying to figure out how to fix this for months! I would search every once in a while to see if anyone found a solution. Finally one that works! I registered on this site just to Thank You! It's only been 3 days since my last crash before installing the new drivers, but that is a record!  Why doesn't Sony adopt these Leshcatlabs divers as their own?
